Entertainment Alternatives in Cleveland, Ohio

Cleveland has many different attractions that make it a popular tourist destination. The Playhouse Square Center is the second largest performing arts center in America, and hosts many different shows and Broadway musicals in its five theaters. The University Circle near downtown Cleveland is an area that includes many of Cleveland’s universities, as well as museums, such as the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Cleveland is also home to the world-famous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

There are many different festivals in Cleveland, such as the Feast of the Assumption, the Greek Orthodox Festival, the Harvest Festival, the annual St. Patrick's Day parade, the Cleveland International Film Festival, Winterfest, and Ingenuity, an annual art and technology festival.

Cleveland also has many professional sports teams, such as the Cleveland Indians (Major League Baseball), the Cleveland Browns (National Football League), the Cleveland Cavaliers (National Basketball Association), the Cleveland City Stars (United Soccer Leagues), and the Lake Erie Monsters (American Hockey League). The major sporting centers in Cleveland are Jacobs Field, Cleveland Browns Stadium, the Quicken Loans Arena, and the Wolstein Center.
